The originally built duplex in the 1970s was characterized by closed floor plans with small window fronts, typical of its construction period. Over time, the house had become dark and no longer met contemporary living standards. Through clever measures such as room consolidation, removal of unnecessary cladding, enlargement of window fronts, and the introduction of consistent design elements, a completely new sense of space was created. While preserving the originally pragmatic style for enhanced usability, the house underwent a complete technological overhaul, including electrical, plumbing, heating, cooling systems, and the additional living space in the basement significantly contributed to the property's increased value.
